"Romantic Dagger, France, 19th Century"
Bronze dagger, nicely twisted handle, quillons ending in an engraved ball. Very beautiful blade with double-grooved ricasso which is older. Scabbard with two suspension systems in gilded brass (remains of gilding) covered with used red velvet with a very worked and decorated rivet en suite.
