Baccarat, Large 12-light Crystal And Bronze Chandelier, 19th Century

Magnificent large Baccarat crystal chandelier on a gilded bronze frame. Napoleon III style, it illuminates with 12 arms of light on two levels. The bronze frame is decorated with acanthus leaves. The gilding has faded but retains a beautiful patina. The cups are signed Baccarat cast in the mass (those in the upper row are not signed). A multitude of pendants of different shapes mix to bring the magic of the reflection of the crystal. In the lower part, a faceted ball. The electricity was redone a few years ago. Fake opaline candles. Note two different bobeches, the fluted shaft is patinated darker in places (lack of gilding) and some chips on some pendants. Period late 19th century around 1890.
