Ida CALZOLARI (1936- ) Still Life With Fruit Oil On Canvas Size: 24.5 cm x 29.5 cm Frame size: 39 cm x 44.5 cm Ida Calzolari comes from a long line of painters in Venice. Her grandfather, Enrico, was a professor at the Beaux Arts in Venice; she spent much time studying Flemish artists. Ida continued her family's love affair with Flemish art. The ambassadors of Italy, Iran and the United States, as well as many private collectors, own her work. In 1983, twelve of her paintings were exhibited in Washington at the request of Ronald Regan. She is currently represented by the J.M. Stringer Gallery in New Jersey. Her paintings are held in numerous galleries around the world.
