Height 74cm - Width 19 x Depth 17 - 12 kilos - Antique green patina nuanced - Some marks on the arms. Lost wax bronze - Signature on the base. The sculptor: Born in Okimoto, Okayama city. Department of sculpture of the Tokyo School of Fine Arts, graduated 1931. He studied with Seibo Kitamura (artist a powerful style). He was selected in special selection at the Nitten exhibition (Fine Arts Fair) from 1931 to 1933. From the second war, faced with the difficulty of casting bronze, he developed an activity as a ceramic sculptor (Bizen stoneware) which he continued thereafter. He made monuments in stoneware. After the war, he was a judge and advisor to the Nitten exhibition. About ten monuments in the Okayama prefecture (squares, temples, etc.) - work at the Museum of this city.
