Beautiful Louis XIV period mirror in richly carved gilded wood offering at the top a child Bacchus holding a bunch of grapes in each hand placed in the heart of a surround of acanthus foliage, topped with a flower; this generous motif dominates the mirror itself in the center of a surround made of a beautiful and rich composition carved with foliage and flowers.
The whole is on its original parquet in good condition; from the time of Louis XIV it is a mirror of a very beautiful authentic decorative quality.
