"Pair Of Bronze Light Arms With Female Terms, Regency Style."
Beautiful model of Regence style wall light in chiseled bronze, it is an interesting model with 4 asymmetrical light arms, in the manner of André Charles Boulle with naked female busts in caryatid with a sheath base from which garlands of flowers fall. The cups and vases are well worked, as are the light arms, where we can observe a purely Louis XIV work, with ornamentation from classicism for certain branches while others have more nervous curves entirely hidden by foliage announcing the rococo. This pair of wall lights are old, they date from the 19th century, they are of good quality, they were pierced for electricity during their life, but are sold non-electrified. We note some old restorations of use. Dimensions: Height: 39 cm Width: 32 cm Depth: 20 cm
