Pair of Gien Renaissance Vases 20th Century" Pair of Gien earthenware vases, Renaissance decoration consisting of grotesques inspired by 15th century Italy, on a cobalt blue background. Motifs representing chimeras, foliage. As always in Gien earthenware, we find the extraordinary diversity of shapes and especially of decorations which characterize this fine Gien earthenware which has allowed it to ensure its longevity. A stamp from the manufacturer is present under the background used from 1938 to 1960.
