"two standing nudes", oil on panel, signed lower right, size 70 x 110 cm, framed Augustin Émile Benoît Carrera, born in Madrid on April 3, 1878 and died in Paris 14th on May 25, 1952, is a Franco-Spanish painter. Born to French parents, a student of Léon Bonnat and Henri Martin, he exhibited at the Society of French Artists of which he was a member, from 1904. Travel grant (1907), knight (1920) then officer of the Legion of Honor (1928), member of the Salon des Tuileries, we owe him mainly nudes and landscapes. His painting The Woman with Blue Stockings is kept at the Musée du Luxembourg.
