"Romantic School Standard Bearer"
Man in 16th century military uniform carrying a standard with a dead man at his feet. French Romantic school in the entourage of the Devérias. Unsigned oil on panel, framed in a wooden and gilded stucco channel frame from the first half of the 19th century. The frame has some accidents in the corners in particular. The panel, alone, measures 41x22cm.
