This is a clear amber glass coupe vase with a rounded cut. The piece has a greenish tint and a textured surface with raised plant motifs. The top of the vase is hexagonal in shape. Signature on the bottom of the vase. The vase has two large cracks and other small cracks visible in the photos. Dimensions: Height: 12.5 cm Width: 15 cm Diameter: 13 cm Émile Gallé (1846-1904) was a French master glassmaker, a leading figure in the Nancy School and the Art Nouveau movement. He is recognized as one of the pioneers of modern glass art. Gallé is famous for his technical innovations in glassmaking, including multi-layered glass and acid etching.
