Napoleon III period planter. Floral marquetry is enhanced by the contrast of lacquer and bronze. The oval shape of the lid is in brass and mother-of-pearl marquetry. Embedded by the bronze gallery with the original zinc tray. The belt represents a flower garland decoration with ribbon. The shelf is also marquetry and lacquered (h 60cm) The base is curved and lacquered. The bronzes are patterned with: descent of culolots, palmettes, foliage and interlacing.
