Angèle Delasalle 1867-1938 student of Benjamin Constant, painter and engraver contemporary of Berthe Morisot. Exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français of which she became a member from 1894, bronze medal in 1897, silver medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1900, member of the International Society of Painting and Sculpture. In 1900 her painting "An Evening in Saint Cloud" allowed her to be the only woman of the time to obtain a travel grant. She went to paint in Rome, Brussels, Amsterdam and then England. She exhibited views of the English capital in London at the Grafton Galleries. She became associated with the National Society of Fine Arts in 1902
