"Adze, Tool"
This adze is essentially composed of two parts, a large wooden handle with an opening to pass the fingers through, and a thick iron blade which is held under the handle by a large iron ring which holds the 2 pieces together, completed by a removable wooden wedge to ensure the solidity of the assembly.
