"Italian Carved Giltwood Empire Wall Lamp Or Table Lamp End 1700"
Golden Empire Applique Lamp End 1700 obtained with the use of a palm holder vase in carved and gilded wood in fine gold, transformed to be used as a wall lamp. On the back you can see the signs of a shoulder which allowed vertical stability and the side signs of two handles that are no longer present. The "belly" of the vase is engraved on plaster and is decorated by the carving of a garland of flowers with two festoons. The finial has an unusual decoration for palm holders. In good condition with the electrical part working with a large E27 socket.
