Shinshinto tachi MEIJI period (1868 - 1912) Signed (mei): Miyata Toyoshige saku Blade (sugata): shinogi zukuri, iori mune, kakinagashi-hi, horimono with dragon and ken (kurikara) on one side, on the other the inscription “Hoshu Oyama Sekison Daikingen, Daitengu Kotengu” Forging pattern (hada): masame Quenching (hamon): choji midare Fuze (nakago): suriage keitai, a mekugi ana Length (nagasa): 68 cm Scabbard (saya): Saya en gold nashiji lacquer decorated in gold lacquer hira maki-e of sixteen kiku with sixteen petals. Koshira-e suite in shakudo and copper gilded with chrysanthemums. Tsuba aoi gata in shibuichi decorated in gilded copper hira zogan with twenty-four chrysanthemums (kiku)
