Rare model of Victorian hot water bed warmer, second half of the 19th century. Ingenious system, the handle unscrews in order to fill the tank with hot water, now cleaner and safer, compared to ember bed warmers. A few rare models of this copy also reached France under Napoleon III. Good condition. Length 45 cm, tank diameter 16 cm.
