"Sculpted And Gilded Table Lectern"
Sculpted and Gilded Table Lectern 1700 resting on four turned feet that support a rectangular base structure that acts as a support with a rack in the center to allow adjustment of the inclination of the top. The book holder is made with a frieze carved with original volutes and racemes and entirely gilded with the parts not in relief engraved in plaster with small circular motifs. In good condition apart from minimal lightening; probably the central support for the inclination of the lectern has been replaced. It dates back to the 18th century and comes from northern Italy.
