"Silk Skirt End Of 18th Century Beginning Of 19th Century "
Beautiful black and green striped silk skirt from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. In very good condition, no weaknesses or accidents. It is entirely assembled and sewn by hand. A few small stains which in my opinion are easily cleanable. Height approximately 110 cm. Longer at the back. Very narrow waist to suit the corsets of the time. Very important pleat work. Herringbone detailing on the front. Not easy to photograph or describe for a non-specialist in old costumes. ..... the green color is brighter and less gray toned than in the photos.
