"Reliquary Monstrance In Silvered And Repoussé Copper - Spain - 19th Century"
A thin layer with rich hammered and finely chiseled decorations surrounds our two relics resting on a red fabric. The whole resting on a silver metal foot. The relics of the "Virgin of Macarena" and "Jesús del Gran Poder" are presented for devotion. Jesus and Mary are, under these names, honored in Seville where two basilicas are dedicated to them. We thus find the first in the Basilica of Macarena and the second in the Minor Basilica of Nuestro Padre Jesús del Gran Poder.
A Hispanic work from the 19th century in good condition but with a slight inclination.
Dimensions of 54 cm high by 23 wide.
