Oil on canvas by LUIGI MORETTI '' Gondolier of Venice '' dating from the beginning of the 20th century around 1930. Very beautiful gilded frame with leaf LUIGI MORETTI, Italian painter born in 1884 and died in 1950. He painted many scenes of the city of Venice such as the ports, the canals and their gondoliers, but also market scenes and views of the city. This work is signed lower right, a plaque on the frame is present. Artist listed and rated. Period: 20th Frame dimensions: 69 cm x 78 cm Painting dimensions: 45 cm x 55 cm Good condition, slight wear of the frame, to be cleaned (see photos).
