Diamond-shaped box in boiled cardboard covered with a dark beige embossed velvet fabric.
The bubbled glass top reveals a small statue of the Virgin and Child in a curved frame decorated with folded paper. All around the relics of Saint Margaret and Saint Catherine.
I can also read at the bottom a relic from the Garden of Olives.
The interior is entirely decorated with strips of folded paper, and rolled up white or gold. A ribbon-shaped canvas is glued to the back to allow hanging. Note: The mandorla shape of the box. Typical shape for the representation of sacred figures.
Used condition (missing or sagging folded papers) see photos
The whole remains however very acceptable and so charming.
