Our tempietto houses a plaster statue of Saint Vincent de Paul (1581-1660). Hand on the Heart and head bowed as a sign of humility, Saint Vincent overlooks the tabernacle covered with a conopeia. Which tabernacle, protected by two angel heads in strong relief, is covered with finely carved roses. The majestic canopy, with numerous decorations of vines and grapes, is topped with a radiant cross surrounded by two eagles, symbolizing Christ and John the Evangelist.
On either side of this alcove, on two carefully crafted panels, are two praying angels facing each other.
Finally, framing the previously described ensemble, are two symmetrical niches ready to accommodate, in turn, statues. Our two twin niches are crowned with a red and gold crown, undoubtedly symbolizing the crowns of Life and Glory.
Note various gaps, notably on the cross and wing of one of the angels - damaged gilding on the columns particularly - cracks in the wood
The dimensions of the set are 352 cm long by 265 cm high and 52 cm deep.
