Ornamental vase representative of the birth of the neoclassical style of the 18th century, being the realization of an engraving by Jacques Saly (1717-1776) by the porcelain factory of Derby in England from 1773 to 1790. Two examples are known, one at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the other at the Indianapolis Museum. Vase in three parts with support and cover, decorated with rose and glaze covered with applied putti, marine animals, festoons and sphinxes in biscuit. In soft porcelain, cast, painted in pink and gilded enamel, with unglazed biscuit parts. Marked by incision in the material at the base of the central part N 19.
