Rectangular body with rounded corners, rolled edge, openwork side. A thick bronze grid pierced with fleurons, commas, hearts, separates the hearth from the ashtray ventilated by 4 slits, and supported by a base plate. 4 bronze feet, with upturned and arched feet, support the whole and stiffen it by riveting. Short handle, in turned wood, with firmly riveted tang. Good metal density. Total height: 15.5 cm. Length with handle: 31.5 cm. Width: 23.5 cm. Period: 18th century. Very good condition.
