He is a painter of animated scenes, figures, urban landscapes, interiors, still lifes, flowers, gouache painter, draftsman. He is inspired by the post-cubist movement. During an administrative career, he met Gen Paul, Carc and Marcel Aymé in Montmartre and then came to painting. Perhaps influenced by Gen Paul in the color, both harsh and gloomy, as for the form, he observes the strict Cézanne principles sometimes inflected by Cubism. In his early days, a painter of crowds and the squares and streets of Paris, he then favored still lifes. He has appeared in several annual salons in Paris since 1953, as well as participations in collective exhibitions abroad (New York, San Francisco).
