Elegant wall-mounted cartel to be placed on its matching lamp base. 1st part of the 18th century. Violin-shaped, the cartel is from the Regency / Louis XV period. Brass marquetry called Boulle decorated with garlands of flowers and foliage. White circular dial with 2 times 12 enameled plates with Roman numerals in oven blue. Rich decoration of chiseled and gilded bronzes. The curved top is topped with an acroterion in the shape of a bouquet of flowers. Movement with numbered counting wheel characteristic of the 17th / 18th century and blade suspension. Key winding (provided): duration approximately 15 days. Strikes the hours and half hours. Good working order. Restoration of the case with traces of wear and small losses. Very good condition of presentation. Signature chiseled with a burin. Signed on the movement
