Large full-flight fan in beautiful lace, silk and mother-of-pearl frame. Perfect condition. The silk is hand-painted with a composition of flowers and insects signed J. Thobie. The mother-of-pearl is superb as is the lace. 19th century period. The height of the folded fan is approximately 33cm. The open wingspan is approximately 63cm. Truly a beautiful old object.
