"Ngil Fang Mask, Gabon. "
Large Fang mask in relatively light hardwood characteristic of the ethnic group, measuring approximately 72cms high (excluding base). It is an object from the second half of the 20th century (1960-1970). The perfect style of the sculpture makes it a very spectacular object and perfectly representative of the Fang style as it inspired many painters or sculptors such as Picasso or Modigliani among others. Nice patina of time.
