A very fine antique medal, made by Vernon circa 1910. Vernon is probably the greatest medal maker. Signed. Made in 18 carat yellow and white gold: hallmarked with an eagle's head. Set with natural pearls, painted with plique-à-jour enamel. Dimensions: 40 mm high and 30 mm wide. Weight: 8.68 grams
