"Bronze Elephant Japan "
Bronze sculpture with black patina: Japan, Meiji period. An elephant in motion is represented: It seems to be "charging", head and trunk raised, tail low and ears spread. It exudes great strength. The modeling of the animal is well rendered as is its expression. This interesting sculpture is of high quality and in good condition. There are marks under 2 feet L: 15.5cm W: 6.5cm H: 9cm
