Dambrung – Captain: Audic Surprisingly, if we know nothing about this painter, Charles FLOCH, on the other hand Captain AUDIC, whose name appears at the bottom of the canvas, and who maneuvered this sailboat, has come down to us, whose military career allows us to know. Born in Ancenis (in Loire-Atlantique) on April 1, 1844, Christian AUDIC entered the imperial navy in 1861.
