Portable and unique with its written recovery parchment binding, this account book with flap was used on one page under the Empire from 1812 to the Reign of Charles X, in 1818. A receipt from Madame Daban for regular payments, signed by different protagonists. The magic of old paper is very present in this artisanal book of collection accounts. A piece of "Curiosity" with four written pages and the rest of this beautiful paper (rag) blank and numbered with a quill pen "40" (pages plus a last handwritten one by Mr. Picot which announces the fortieth and last sheet ... A beautiful piece which in itself contains all the secrets of the magic of History and the passing of time. With strong decorative power and can still take service ...
