Superb button representing in grisaille in a wooded landscape a hunter wearing a tricorn, accompanied by his two dogs, carrying his rifle on his shoulder as well as a game bag with a hanging bird.

The scene is inscribed in an octagon formed by two black lines and one gold, standing out on a parma background and circled with silver dots.

Painting on Ivory, gilded copper frame, original domed glass.
