Rare Zoomorphic Pitcher In Ecommoy Earthenware - Sarthe Early 19th Century - Attributed To Laurent Boivin

Zoomorphic pitcher in polychrome earthenware from Ecommoy - Sarthe, early 19th century,
in the shape of the "bavette" pitchers, with its covered spout in the shape of a dog's head, decorated in low relief with a winged angel's head, surrounded by vine branches.
On one side a cartouche captioned "Maitre Langot Deboissé", and opposite a man smoking a pipe sitting on a bench.
Beautiful quality of enamel, the green blends slightly into the white glaze.
This pitcher is similar to the soup tureen by Laurent Boivin from Ecommoy, exhibited at the Musée de la Reine Bérengère in Le Mans. (source: Potiers et Faïenciers de la Sarthe - Editions de la Reinette)
Good condition, some very small chips from use visible in the photos, no cracks, no repair.
