"Red Chinese Lacquer Longcase Clock"
A red Chinese lacquered floor clock, decorated with scenes from life with figures. The glass upper part reveals a dial signed Bell's in the centre of the numbers, and Tempus fugit. It is decorated with an eagle on the top and surmounted by three gilt bronze pine cones. The lower part includes a richly decorated door, which opens onto a storage compartment for the key to the mechanism.
