superb and very large solid oak box from the house of aucoc, designed to accommodate a solid silver mirror, decorated with plaques in the corners, handles, compasses and hinges in gilded brass, enhanced on the upper part with a coat of arms bearing a quote "loyalement sans douter" supported by 2 lions and surmounted by a marquis' crown, signed A.AUCOC 6 rue de la paix PARIS, 19th century period, in very good condition, working key, note an old restoration at the bottom of the lock barely visible
