Elegant Art Nouveau Toilet Set

The elegance of this set comes first from the very attractive silhouette of the pitcher in the shape of a ewer and then from the excellent proportions of the set. The pitcher, although important, is set in the center of a widely flared basin and the general appearance is very balanced. The set is in iron earth from the end of the 19th century and the pitcher bears the mark G11. The whole is in excellent condition, without cracks or breaks. The decoration is typically Art Nouveau, composed of an interlacing of foliage and flowers in a gray-blue or blue-gray tone very in vogue at the time.
