"Denise Delavigne “cupid Bound” - Bronze Sculpture. France, 20th Century"
This fine bronze sculpture with a burnished patina is signed by Denise Delavigne, a French sculptor born at the end of the 19th century. The work has the title of "Bound Cupid" because it depicts Cupid with his hands crossed and tied behind his back and his quiver resting on a stump to the side. The sculpture bears the signature on the base. It is in original patina which has some scratches. Period: France, early 20th century Dimensions: cm. 68 x 27 x 17
