Object description :

"Pair Of Watercolors The First Car Rides Georgewright "
A superb pair of watercolours. They are mounted on a small panel. Signed by George Wright (30 June 1860[1] – 11 March 1944) He was an oil painter whose subjects were mainly drawn from hunting, which he knew well, being a fox hunter himself[2], coaching and other equestrian subjects. George Wright was one of the greatest equestrian artists of his time.[6] He was one of a family of seven children, five of whom were professional artists, either primarily as painters or as illustrators. Wright is sometimes confused with George Wright (1851 – 1 February 1916),[14] a Scottish landscape painter who lived in Annan
