Charles Giai-Gischia was born in 1956 in Grenoble. He entered the Beaux-Arts de Grenoble in 1974. He then studied in Paris and obtained the agrégation d’arts plastiques in 1984. He began exhibiting in Parisian galleries. He went to live in Sweden from 1986 to 1990 where he participated in several exhibitions. Back in France in 1990, he also worked as an illustrator and roughman for communication agencies. From 2015, he resumed his activity as a painter in 2015. He exhibited several times at the FIAC in Paris.
