This portrait of Henry V (1820-1833) is a painting and embroidery on silk, from the Hoeth house, as well as the black and gold églomisé frame in used condition. This portrait has never been unframed. On the back the original label of the Hoeth house. Henry V, Count of Chambord, is the son of Charles Ferdinand of Artois, Duke of Berry, and Marie Caroline of Bourbon Sicily. His grandfather was Charles X. Having gone into exile at the Scottish palace of Holyrood, this portrait was made at this time between 1830 and 1832.
