"19th Century Silver And Vermeil Vinaigrette"
19th century silver vinaigrette in rectangular shape, the interior in vermeil. The top is engraved with flowers and foliage and the reverse with a heart-shaped motif surrounded by foliage. When opened, we discover an openwork grid nicely chiseled with a scroll decorated with flowers and foliage. This grid lifts up to reveal the vermeil compartment in which the ladies placed a sponge soaked in lavender or bergamot to hide bad odors. Beautiful collector's item in good condition. 4.3 X 3.1cm
