Very rare pair of snuffers and their tray in solid silver from the Empire period with the hallmarks of the city of Barcelona and the master goldsmith's mark of Francesco Carreras (1750-1821). The set is particularly interesting because the snuffers are carried by two peacocks at rest and are very nicely and richly engraved with typical Empire motifs.
