Important Louis XV 18th century red morocco rectangular gusset wallet in very good condition; the leather is decorated around all its front and back edges with a running frieze, stamped in gold with small irons, in perfect condition with a series of very fine acanthus and at the corners with a floral motif. The interior is divided into several parts covered with a green fabric with some traces of storage uses. The raised flap is made of green leather decorated around the central edge with a beautiful frieze in a gold series with an elegant floral motif, the top receiving the back of the lock is lined in a complete flat area with fine stamped gold flowers. The flap on the outside has a silver escutcheon in an eventful shape allowing 3 levels of closure depending on the thickness of the sheets and documents to be contained.
The lock is on the triangular gable but without the key. This wallet bears some usual traces of its former use can be used due to its good general condition.
