His father, Ebenezer Conant Jr., was 29 years old and his mother, Lydia Oakes, was 29 years old. He married Charity Waite Broughton on November 20, 1794 in Ashburnham, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 5 daughters. He died on June 30, 1856, in Brandon, Rutland, Vermont, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Brandon, Rutland, Vermont, United States.
