André Fraye is best known for his seascapes, created with great visual acuity. A lively and seductive colourist, striving to make colours vibrate, he was often compared to Van Dongen, Bonnard or Marquet, but also to the neo-realist Dunoyer de Ségonzac.
Works in museums: Algiers – Le Havre – London – Manchester – Paris, Museum of Modern Art – Paris, Army Museum.
