Large Directoire armchair in solid mahogany with a convex belt on the front joining two sheathed legs and a recess in the front and ending with wooden sabots. The rear legs are saber-shaped and set back. The armrests of this armchair rest on two consoles which rest on the top of the legs. These armrests join the straight backrest, each decorated with a volute outgrowth with an acanthus leaf on the top. The seat, in excellent condition, is traditional with straps and balls.
