"Small Gilded Wood Center Table, Louis XV Style – Late 19th Century"

This small rectangular gilded wood table has lively crosspieces decorated with shells, scrolls and flowers. These rest on four curved legs with grooves with carved acanthus leaf motifs ending in small snails. This base is joined by a spacer decorated in the center with a delicately crafted pine cone. The top has a Yellow Breccia du Benou marble, with a flat corbin beak, matching the shape of the table. Ideally sized, this small gilded wood table will provide a temporary and very decorative solution. ******** Period: Late 19th century Excellent condition. Later restoration of the marble.
