Paris Contact fredericchavanne@hotmail.com 06 62 70 08 91 Jean-Phillipe Baudry's aesthetic approach has evolved between several lines of research that regularly intersect, between painting, sculpture and ceramics. His research focuses on movement, time, space and color. So many questions taken on a multidisciplinary work for solutions that weave a work, whose recent sculptures reinvent the previous data by transcending them. This involves the reduction of language whose starting point is based on the simple forms of geometry. The artist's work and reflection will lead to going beyond traditional plastic concepts to establish a relationship with movement and time. An exploration in which the line that draws the forms gives rise to discs, rings, circles whose obvious symbolic notion only reinforces that of freedom under the dependence of chance and the ephemeral. Weight, matter, surface participate in this visualization between nature and thought. The form that springs from it, has the power of individual evocation in an approach that Jean Phillipe Baudry placed under the sign of silent clarity. Lydia HARAMBOURG Historian Art critic, July 2001
