Complete in 16 beautiful volumes in blond glazed calfskin, 12mo format, smooth spines decorated with original gilded ironwork known as spider's web (typically Louis XV), marbled guards Ex-Libris of the Library of Monsieur Daron, red edges. These rare books in new condition, soon complete (important table of contents last volume volume 16): "Roman History from the foundation of Rome to the Battle of Actium: that is to say until the end of the Republic.
